FRANCE - PARCEL STAMPS

Parcel Stamps

From 1892 onwards, parcel post stamps were issued mainly to frank the transport of goods from a station of departure to a station of arrival, the transport being in the name and under the responsibility of the french post. Because stamps before 1941 were intended for use only, the stamp designs are rather basic; well centered images are rare, and the paper and perforation are often of poor quality.

GUARANTEE : Compare what is comparable - All stamps here are exclusively mint never hinged = MNH with full original gum, according to the international code.
